Daniel found exactly why my writing was stuck at 6. Three weeks later my mock essay was marked 6.5, and I finally understand Task 2.

FAQ

Questions we get every week

How do online lessons work?

Lessons happen in our online classroom. Click Join on the class page a few minutes before the start, from a computer or a phone with a camera. There's nothing to install, and your teacher can share their screen.

Can I keep the same time every week?

Yes. When you book, switch on Every week and we keep your next four lessons booked at that time. If your teacher is away one week, that week is skipped and you're told.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel or move a lesson on the class page up to 24 hours before it starts and your credit comes back. Later than that, the lesson counts as taken.

Are lessons recorded?

Yes. Recordings of one-to-one lessons and groups are on the class page for 14 days, for you and your teacher only.

How do I know I'm making progress?

After every lesson your teacher writes notes and homework, and gives you a progress check: a band estimate for IELTS, a level out of 12 for CELPIP, a score out of 10 for French. You see them all on your lesson plan.

Can my child take lessons?

Yes. French for Kids is for children aged 6 to 12, with 45-minute one-to-one lessons and a Saturday club. Book the free trial in your own name and tell us your child's name and age.
